Connectivity includes two 10/100 Ethernet ports with separate MACs in order to allow separation between machine/plant network and enterprise network (management, Industry 4.0 , Internet access) in addition to RS485 serial and CANOpen. VPN connection via pre-installed Pixsys Portal software service also allows access to the plant subnetwork (passthrough) for remote control and/or remote assistance purposes.
